The Samsung DC31-20014C is an essential component of your Samsung washer/dryer combo. It is an integral part of the drying and washing processes, acting as a drain pump motor as well as a clutch. The clutch engages during the washing cycle, enabling the motor to spin the drum, agitating and cleaning your garments. When the washing cycle is over, the motor becomes a drain pump as the clutch releases and the motor disengages. It primes the drum for the drying cycle by pumping away the washer's soiled water. The DC31-20014C motor in your washer/dryer may be broken, leading to several issues. Your garments will be completely washed and effectively dried during each cycle if a malfunctioning motor is replaced.
