Installation Steps
Step 2: The ice maker cover should be detached by lifting it vertically and gently pulling it away from the appliance.
Step 3: The wiring harnesses linked to the old ice maker should be carefully detached by pressing the locking tab down and pulling the connector out.
Step 4: The four screws securing the old ice maker should be taken out with a small flathead screwdriver.
Step 5: The old ice maker should be extracted straight out and disposed of.
Step 6: The new ice maker should be aligned with the mounting holes and the four screws should be inserted to fasten it in position.
Step 7: The wiring harnesses should be reattached to the new ice maker.
Step 8: The ice maker cover should be reinstalled and pressed down firmly until it clicks into position.
Step 9: The water supply should be reactivated and the refrigerator should be reconnected to the electrical outlet.
Step 10: The ice maker should be reset by pressing and holding the reset button for three seconds.
Step 11: A container should be placed beneath the ice maker and filled with water up to the indicated line on the reservoir.
Step 12: A period of 24 hours should be allowed for the ice maker to generate the first batch of ice.
