Installation Steps

Step 1: The washer/dryer should be disconnected from its electrical outlet.

Step 2: With a Phillips screwdriver, the two screws found at the bottom of the front panel should be taken out. After that, the panel should be carefully elevated upward and away from the appliance.

Step 3: The push button switch assembly positioned at the lower section of the control panel should be identified. The two Phillips head screws that fasten it to the panel should be detached.

Step 4: The electrical harness attached to the rear of the old switch should be carefully disconnected.

Step 5: The old push button switch assembly should be gently extracted from the appliance.

Step 6: The new switch assembly should be inserted into the same slot in the control panel and secured with the two screws removed previously.

Step 7: The electrical harness should be reconnected to the back of the new switch, ensuring that the wire colors correspond correctly.

Step 8: The front panel should be reattached, aligning the screw holes, and they should be tightened securely using the Phillips screws.

Step 9: Lastly, the washer/dryer should be reconnected to the power source, and it should be verified that the switch functions correctly.
