Installation Steps

Step 1: Disconnect the Power

Step 2: Remove the Outer Panel
The dryer door should be opened and the two screws positioned at the top of the unit's top panel should be taken out.

The panel should be elevated and detached along with the screws. Once the panel is taken off, the strike will be visible on the frame of the dryer.

Step 3: Extract the Damaged Strike
The old strike should come off with minimal resistance. If it doesn’t, a combination of pliers and a screwdriver should be utilized to loosen the screws securing it.

Step 4: Install the New Strike
The new strike should be positioned in the designated area. It should ensure that it is aligned correctly, then it should be fastened using the screws that were previously holding the old strike.

Step 5: Reattach the Outer Panel
The outer panel should be reinstalled and secured with the screws that were previously removed. It should be verified that everything is tightened properly to ensure optimal functionality.

Step 6: Verify Your Work
Finally, the dryer should be reconnected to the power source and a test run should be given. The door should be opened and closed, confirming that it is securely fastened. If all is well, drying once more is set.

Please remember, these instructions serve as general guidance and should always be complemented with the manufacturer's manual, if available.
