Product Description

The General Electric WE25X217 Dryer Natural Gas to LP Converter Kit is a conversion part to convert the gas system to liquid propane. Its primary function is to modify the nature of fuel delivery in order to provide the burner with the right amount of gas pressure and flow. The process would be the replacement of specific gas orifices and associated fittings that are used in propane. It is mounted in the burner and gas supply zone by stripping off the natural gas constituents and connecting the LP constituents as per the protocols.

Installation Steps

Step 1: Assemble the LP Conversion Kit. Prior to initiating the conversion, it should ensure that all elements of the GE Dryer Conversion Kit NAT. to LP are well-acquainted with. Possession of all components and required tools for the conversion process should be verified.

Step 2: Detach the Natural Gas Line. The natural gas line should be removed from the dryer by loosening the nuts and rotating them counterclockwise. The dryer’s power cord should be unplugged before any gas hose is detached.

Step 3: Attach the LP Gas Hose. The LP gas hose should be firmly fastened using the nuts included in the conversion kit. It should ensure that the connections are snug and secure.

Step 4: Link the Pressure Regulator. The pressure regulator should be connected to the wall-mounted regulator. The hose should be measured and trimmed to the appropriate length, then the clamp should be positioned over the end. It should ensure that the clamps are tightened securely.

Step 5: Install the LP Convertor Kit. The LP convertor kit should be positioned back in its original location. The screws that were removed during the process should be reinserted and it should be confirmed that they are adequately secured.

Step 6: Reattach the Hoses. The hoses linked to the LP convertor kit should be reattached. It should be confirmed that the connections are tight and that the valves are open. Caution should be exercised to avoid over-tightening the connections, as damage may be led to.

Step 7: Verify the Conversion. The dryer should be activated and any gas leaks should be inspected for. If none are detected, the conversion process is finished.
