The Broan SV05865 Range Hood Aluminum Mesh Grease Filter 9.25 x 12.5 is used to trap grease and particulates in the air passing through the ventilation system when cooking. It is located below the hood canopy or inlet of the blower and it is in line with interior airflow channels and exhaust opening. Air pulled in by the cooktop goes through the mesh holding the grease and assisting in avoiding the accumulation of oil inside the parts.
