The Broan S99100491 Range Hood Motor Isolator Bushing Rubber is installed to minimize vibration transmission from the motor assembly to the structure. It works with a molded body, which absorbs the movement produced when the motor is operating. The bushing mounts between the motor mount and the inner structure of the motor housing in the hood and is held in place in the motor housing holes. It is to reduce the noise that may occur in the operation and to lessen mechanical contact between parts. It also assists in the smooth operation of motor stabilization during ventilation use.
