The Broan S97020534 Range Hood Damper Adaptor 3-1/4 10 is a duct transition component, which is compatible with ventilation systems that allow the outlet of the hood to be connected to different duct sizes. Its primary function is to transform the exhaust opening of the range hood which measures 3 1/4-inch to a standard 10-inch duct. The adaptor is mounted between the collar of the ducts of the hood and the ducts of the building.
