Installation Steps

Step 1: The necessary tools and materials required for the replacement of the BR013 Dryer Vent Cleaning Brush 10' Long should be collected. A new brush, tape measure, screwdriver, and a dust pan will be needed.

Step 2: The power supply to your dryer should be disconnected. This can be achieved by unplugging the appliance from the outlet or switching off the fuse in the circuit breaker box.

Step 3: The cover plate should be detached from the outside vent. The screwdriver should be utilized to take out the screws securing the cover.

Step 4: A vacuum cleaner should be utilized to carefully extract all the lint that has gathered in the ducting system.

Step 5: The length of the current brush should be measured and compared to the length of the new brush. It should ensure that the new brush matches the size of the old one for proper fitting.

Step 6: The new brush should be placed into the ducting system, pushed down until it reaches the end of the vent.

Step 7: The brush should be fastened to the ducting system with tape. It should be confirmed that it is securely attached to the ducting system walls.

Step 8: The cover plate should be reattached on the outside vent and the screws tightened.

Step 9: Power to your dryer should be restored.

Step 10: You’re finished! Now a clean dryer vent and a safe dryer experience can be appreciated.
