The Bertazzoni Z300291 Refrigerator Defrost Thermostat reads and sends data on the temperature inside the evaporator compartment to the control system, which operates the defrost cycle or ends it. It is attached either to the evaporator coil or close to it and is electrically connected through terminals to the main control board. The thermostat reads temperature levels and actuates the defrost heater system and control circuitry to avoid ice formation. It controls defrost time and combines with the refrigeration cycle, providing normal cooling and defrost functions, temperature stability and overall system operation.
