The Asko 496467 Washing Machine Drain Pump Assembly HANYU B25-5A 60Hz is a circulation pump that forces all the water to exit the wash tub upon the completion of a wash cycle. It has an electric motor that drives an impeller, that forces water out using the drain hose. It is installed at the bottom of the machine and is linked to the plumbing and the electrical system in order to work automatically, when activated by the control board. It is used to avoid backup and supports proper cleaning and spin performance during every wash cycle.
