The Arctic Air C 65121 AC Drain Line Heater is used to prevent the clogging of appliance drain lines of condensate by ensuring that the drainage line remains at a consistent temperature. It assists by transforming the electrical current into low-level heat using a resistive element, which maintains the movement of condensate water and hinders the formation of ice in cold conditions. It is attached to or encircles the condensate drain line adjacent to the evaporator part or drainage outlet and is attached using clips or routed through a tubing connection.
