The Amana R0130110 Oven Touch Panel Assembly-Top touches button presses and converts them into electrical signals that control the functions of the appliance, temperature, mode, and timing. Upon a touchpad area being touched, conductive traces under the entire circuit carry the signal to the control board to be processed. It is mounted on the upper part of the frontal control area of the appliance, overlaying the support frame and harness connectors, and aligning with the input paths in a way that every single input path would interface with the underlying circuitry in a consistent way and would function reliably.
