The Amana 59134306 Oven USB Board is a cooking oven firmware update and diagnostic data transfer board. It is connected to the external parts via a USB port, and the software is uploaded through it to program cooking cycles and operational parameters using the serial data protocol. In the case of the board, the commands are buffered, and the checksum is checked and then relayed to the main control processor at the time of the initialization sequences. It is placed behind the control panel on the oven chassis and has ribbon cable interconnections to the primary circuit board to allow access to service.
