The Amana 59004092 Microwave Cavity Exhaust Motor Gasket Kit pumps air into the cavity to eliminate steam, odors and heat. It operates by changing electrical energy into rotary movement to get the fan into motion to create uniform airflow via exhaust passageways. The gasket provided is proper enough to seal off the motor assembly and the mounting surface. The motor is installed in the upper interior side of the microwave, which is mounted on the mounting bracket and ductwork, and is capable of maintaining a stable operation, air flow and assured ventilation under normal conditions of use.
