The Amana 59004004 Oven High-Temperature RTV Sealant 2.8Oz Red is used to create heat-resistant seals in the surfaces to ensure thermal containment. It is a compound that seals on joints and penetrations to avoid leakage of gases and liquids, even when subjected to high temperatures in an oven. It is applied to flanges, seams or sensor and mounting interfaces to fix interfacing parts into place and is used to seal openings in appliance cavities and housings of burners and heat exchangers when controlled sealing is needed during the assembly process.
