The Amana 14179134 Microwave Antenna & Motor Kit-Blue tip is used to spin the waveguide antenna so that it distributes the appliance energy in the cooking cavity evenly. The kit contains a small motor and antenna shaft with a blue tip that fits into the waveguide assembly. It fits under the microwave floor, or within the cavity ceiling, and connects to the turntable drive or to the mounting bracket as required. The system, it provides the motor of the antenna to facilitate even heating and minimize cold spots on the food.
