Installation Steps

Step 1: Your dishwasher is to be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the breaker in the main circuit panel is to be switched off.

Step 2: The screws located inside the door are to be taken out to detach the door panel.

Step 3: The wire harness for the control panel is to be unplugged by pressing the locking tab and gently extracting the connector.

Step 4: With a ratchet or adjustable wrench, the screws that hold the control panel to the dishwasher frame are to be taken out.

Step 5: The control panel is to be gently lifted out of the dishwasher frame.

Step 6: The new control panel is to be placed and attached to the dishwasher frame using the screws.

Step 7: The wire harness for the control panel is to be reattached.

Step 8: The door panel is to be reinstalled onto the dishwasher, the screws are to be put back, and the appliance is to be reconnected.

Step 9: Power to the dishwasher is to be restored by turning the breaker back on.
