Product Description

The LG AFH72909001 Washer Lifter Assembly assists in washing laundry in water and detergent to clean it completely. It operates by attaching to the inner drum, and lifting the clothes as the drum turns and letting them fall to the ground so that they can be agitated effectively. It is mounted in the wash drum and snaps into the slots that are set aside to fit the part. It enhances the efficiency of washing and recovers the normal tumbling effect.

Installation Steps

Step 1: The washer should be disconnected from its electrical outlet. It should ensure that all fuses or circuit breakers linked to the washer are also turned off.

Step 2: The front panel of the washer should be taken off. The screws should be removed and the top cover should be lifted off.

Step 3: The screws securing the old lifter assembly to the rear of the washer should be detached. It should be gently pulled away from the washer and placed aside.

Step 4: Your new lifter assembly should be acquired. It should be aligned over the back of the washer, ensuring it is flush against the mounting area.

Step 5: The lifter assembly should be fastened using the screws that were previously taken out.

Step 6: The front panel and top cover of the washer should be reattached. Power should be restored and the washer should be checked to confirm it is functioning properly.
