Installation Steps

Step 1: The power cord located at the rear of the LG refrigerator should be disconnected.

Step 2: The water filter situated on the back wall of the appliance should be found.

Step 3: The filter release tab should be depressed and the old filter should be extracted.

Step 4: The new filter – the ADQ73613401 – should be removed from its box.

Step 5: The protective cap from the filter's end should be taken off.

Step 6: The filter should be placed into the compartment until it snaps into position.

Step 7: The filter release tab should be pressed to secure the filter in place.

Step 8: The power cord should be reattached to the refrigerator.

Step 9: Water should be allowed to flow through the water dispenser until it appears clear.

Step 10: The packaging from both the old and new filters should be properly discarded.
