Installation Steps
Step 1: The refrigerator is disconnected from the electrical outlet.Step 2: The screw for the top door hinge cover located on the upper side is taken out.Step 3: The refrigerator door is opened and the center door hinge cover screws located at both the top and bottom of the door are unscrewed.Step 4: The hinge pin is pressed in on to detach the door.Step 5: The door is raised off the bottom hinge.Step 6: The screws are extracted from the damaged door basket assembly and it is carefully pulled out from the door.Step 7: The new LG AAP74271301 Door Basket Assembly is inserted into the slot and fastened with screws.Step 8: The holes at the bottom of the door are matched with the hinge pins and the door is lowered onto the pins.Step 9: The hinge covers are reattached using the screws that were previously removed.Step 10: The refrigerator is reconnected to the power outlet.
