Installation Steps

Step 1: The refrigerator should be switched off and the power cord should be disconnected from the wall outlet.

Step 2: The charcoal filter should be identified, typically situated in the upper-right section of the refrigerator's interior.

Step 3: After identification, the charcoal filter should be detached by turning it counterclockwise and pulling it free.

Step 4: The old filter should be disposed of and a new 8206230A Whirlpool Charcoal Filter should be placed into the slot. It should ensure that it is pushed in securely and rotated clockwise to secure it.

Step 5: The refrigerator power cord should be reconnected to the wall outlet and it should be turned back on.
