Installation Steps

Step 1: The microwave oven should be disconnected from the electrical outlet. It should always be ensured that any electrical devices are unplugged before maintenance tasks are performed.

Step 2: The screws securing the vent grille and the microwave should be taken out. The Phillips head screwdriver should be utilized to detach the screws located on the side of the grille. Afterward, the flathead screwdriver should be employed to extract the screws from the top of the grille that are securing it against the microwave.

Step 3: The grille should be removed from the microwave. It might need to be gently maneuvered to free it.

Step 4: The new 8183851 Whirlpool Microwave Oven Vent Grille - Black should be positioned over the area where the previous one was situated. The screws should be reinserted into their respective holes and secured using the Phillips head screwdriver.
