Installation Steps

Step 1: The washer/dryer is set on a stable, even surface. Ample space for working and accessing the back panel of the unit is ensured.

Step 2: The washer/dryer is disconnected from the power source.

Step 3: The two external screws located at the back of the washer/dryer that hold the back panel in place are found. The two screws are extracted using a Phillips head screwdriver.

Step 4: The rear panel is removed from the washer/dryer and set aside.

Step 5: The belt positioned near the motor is searched for.

Step 6: Referencing the Speed Queen Washer/Dryer user manual, the 800319P Micro V Drive belt is utilized in certain models. It is verified that the appropriate belt is possessed before commencing this procedure.

Step 7: The two tension pulleys situated above the belt that maintain tension against the motor's drive shaft are observed. The screws on the tension pulleys are slightly loosened and the belt is pulled away from the motor.

Step 8: The replacement belt is gently maneuvered around the two tension pulleys and onto the motor's drive shaft.

Step 9: The belt is tugged lightly to ensure it is properly positioned without any kinks or twists.

Step 10: The screws on the tension pulleys are firmly tightened to secure the belt.

Step 11: The back panel is reattached and fastened with the two Phillips head screws.

Step 12: The washer/dryer is reconnected to the outlet and the machine is operated to confirm it is functioning correctly.

Please note that these instructions are intended for general reference and should always be used alongside the manufacturer’s manual, if available.
