The U Line 80-54235-00 Refrigerator Door Gasket is used to provide an airtight seal around the door perimeter to control the internal temperature. Placed into the groove of the door sides, it presses in against the cabinet when the doors are closed and no airflow is permitted to pass through the cabinet, condensing is minimized. This allows the refrigeration to run effectively and aids in keeping the cooling process constant by reducing thermal leakage of the outside conditions.
