The U-Line 80-54147-00 Ice-Maker Drain Pump is used in residential ice makers to get rid of the water in the ice-making compartment. It drains off excess water in the ice bin into a drain line that is connected to it to avoid overflow. The water pump works by automatically activating when the water levels rise and it sucks the water into its internal chamber.
