Product Description
The U Line 80-54070-00 Refrigerator Thermistor Black is to provide temperature monitoring during evaporator operation. It is mounted inside the cabinet or evaporator compartment, which connects to the control board with a low-voltage wiring harness and provides the same resistance-based temperature feedback to the system controller in real-time. The thermistor is set up as an NTC sensor, which means that its electrical resistance will vary in a predictable manner when temperature changes to properly measure the temperature of the area. It can be used for operation to make proper temperature monitoring, and assist with the compressor and fan cycling control.
