The Whirlpool 777380 Trash Compactor Switch-Off regulates the shutting down of the electricity supply to the operating system of an appliance. It is mounted in the compactor control housing so that it can be connected to the main wiring circuit and motor control system by terminal connectors. When the switch is turned on, it breaks the current flow and disconnects the drive motor and related parts of the power supply.
