The Mastercool 70088 Tube Piercing Plier 1/4" is used to create an opening in tubes of small diameter to provide a sealed system. Its main purpose is to perforate 1/4-inch outer diameter tubing to enable recovery or access to pressure. The plier mechanism grips the tube and pushes a sharp point through the wall, creating a passage through which the flow can occur. It is applied directly on bare copper lines in systems without the removal of the tubing. This process allows access control, allowing the flow of support maintenance processes.
