Installation Steps

Step 1: The dryer should be disconnected from the electrical outlet.

Step 2: The dryer's rear panel should be taken off by loosening the screws located at the back of the unit.

Step 3: The wires linked to the thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat should be detached. A photo or diagram should be captured to aid in reassembly.

Step 4: The defective thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat should be extracted using the needle-nose pliers.

Step 5: The new 6931EL3003D LG dryer thermal fuse and 6931EL3001D LG dryer high-limit thermostat should be positioned in place.

Step 6: The wiring should be reconnected to the newly installed thermal fuse and high-limit thermostat. It should ensure that the connections match those of the previous components.

Step 7: The dryer's rear panel should be reinstalled and secured with screws.

Step 8: The dryer should be plugged back into the electrical outlet.

Step 9: The dryer should be activated and it should be verified that it is heating correctly.
