The Packard 66847 Draft Inducer Motor is used to force out the combustion gases from the furnace or heating apparatus to maintain a better flow of air in the venting system. It is fitted in the furnace as part of the furnace housing and it is connected to the blower assembly and electrical supply to ensure that it is kept under control. Its positioning provides effective gas flow, stable draft functioning, and also supports effective and safe functioning of the heating system.
