The LG 6501W1A013A Microwave Sensor Assembly measures the level of humidity, temperature, or food content to control the duration and power of cooking in the appliance. It is attached to the wall behind the control panel wall and the sensing elements are exposed by openings in the waveguide shield and lead to the control board. The assembly communicates with the control circuitry and user interface, converting feedback into operational commands.
