Step 1: The washer dryer should be disconnected from its electrical outlet.
Step 2: The access panel located at the rear of the unit should be taken off to reach the interior components of the washer and dryer.
Step 3: The existing thermostat, which will appear as a white cylindrical element, should be identified.
Step 4: The old thermostat should be detached by unscrewing it and extracting it from the washer and dryer.
Step 5: The new thermostat should be placed, ensuring that the connection is snug and secure.
Step 6: The washer and dryer should be reconnected to the electrical outlet.
