The Bosch 00612102 Microwave Wave Guide Cover is a protective internal part that encloses the electromagnetic channel of the appliance energy that is generated by the magnetron into the cooking cavity. Its function is to exclude food particles, moisture, and debris from the waveguide, and permit uniform distribution of the microwave energy. The cover is designed to wrap the waveguide aperture of the interior wall of the microwave and fasten it with clips or screws.
