Step 1: The power to the refrigerator should be switched off and the water line should be detached.
Step 2: The old filter should be removed from the side of the refrigerator.
Step 3: The arrow on the label of the new filter should be looked for and it should ensure that it is directed downward.
Step 4: The new filter should be inserted into the filter bracket and it should be rotated clockwise until it is securely positioned.
Step 5: The water line should be reattached and the power should be restored.
Step 6: The water line should be flushed by allowing water to flow into a cup until it appears clear.
Step 7: The reset button on the front of the refrigerator should be identified, pressed and held for three seconds to reset the water filter.
Step 8: You’re finished – enjoy your new filter!
