Installation Steps

Step 1: Prior to starting the repair procedure, it is ensured that the refrigerator is unplugged and the power source is disconnected before proceeding.

Step 2: The refrigerator door is propped open with a robust chair or another supportive object.

Step 3: The screws are detached from the top hinge using a Phillips-head screwdriver.

Step 4: The old hinge bearing is extracted by pulling it directly off the refrigerator door.

Step 5: A light oil, such as WD-40, is applied to both the hinge and the new 5304511026 Frigidaire Refrigerator Freezer Hinge Bearing.

Step 6: The new hinge bearing is positioned onto the refrigerator door.

Step 7: The top hinge screws are reinserted and secured firmly with a Phillips-head screwdriver.

Step 8: The refrigerator is reconnected to the power supply, plugged back in, and the door is closed.

Step 9: It is verified that the door is properly sealed and adjustments to the screws are made as necessary for a tighter seal.
