Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to your range should be disconnected. If there is a single power switch, the unit should be unplugged. For a dual power switch, the appropriate switch should be deactivated to cut power to the oven.

Step 2: The cover located at the back of the oven should be taken off. This will reveal the ignitor that requires replacement.

Step 3: Inside the oven, the ignitor wires should be carefully detached. These wires are attached to the ignitor’s base using a small plastic clip.

Step 4: A screwdriver should be utilized to loosen and take out the mounting bracket that secures the old ignitor. The old ignitor should be gently extracted from the oven.

Step 5: The new ignitor should be grabbed and the wires connected using the plastic clips. It should ensure that the clips are firmly in place.

Step 6: The mounting bracket should be positioned over the new ignitor and fastened using the screwdriver.

Step 7: The cover should be reattached to the rear of the oven and it should ensure that it is secured properly.

Step 8: Power to the oven should be restored and the ignitor should be verified. The flame should activate once the bake button is pressed.
