Installation Steps

Step 1: The power to the Frigidaire should be disconnected. The plug should be extracted from the wall socket or the circuit breaker should be deactivated.

Step 2: The screws from the cabinet located at the top of the grommet should be taken out. A screwdriver should be employed to unfasten the screws and the cabinet cover should be removed.

Step 3: The water lines attached to the grommet should be unlinked. One or two plastic clips could be holding the lines to the grommet. The clips should be pried off using a flat-head screwdriver and the water line should be carefully disconnected.

Step 4: The screws securing the grommet in position should be removed. The grommet should be gently extracted from the appliance.

Step 5: The new Frigidaire 5304506517 GROMMET should be placed into the appliance and fastened with the same screws that were taken out in step 4.

Step 6: The water lines should be reattached to the new grommet and secured using the clips.

Step 7: The cabinet cover should be reinstalled to its original location and secured with the screws that were removed in step 2.

Step 8: Power to the Frigidaire should be restored and the new grommet should be checked for functionality.
