The Frigidaire 5303935067 Oven Flat Ignitor 3-1/4 " initiates thermal production in the appliance by creating the required electrical heating arc to turn on the burner assembly when cook cycles begin. It is attached to the combustion chamber of the oven and has electrical connections to the control harness through electrical terminals attached by retaining brackets. This ignitor is connected to the control circuitry and gas delivery system of the oven and coordinates the time of ignition, flow of current and aids normal rise in temperature and controlled heat delivery during normal cycles of the operation of the appliance.
