Installation Steps

Step 1: The access panel cover situated at the rear of your refrigerator should be found and detached. This is typically secured with several screws.

Step 2: After the cover is removed, the defrost thermostat should be identified. It will be linked to two wires, so it should be ensured to label them before detaching.

Step 3: The old thermostat should be detached by gently removing the two wires. Care should be taken not to damage the wires or allow them to come into contact with one another.

Step 4: The new thermostat should be installed by attaching the two wires to their respective locations on the unit. It should be ensured they are firmly connected.

Step 5: The access panel cover should be reattached and secured with the screws that were previously removed.

Step 6: Your refrigerator should be reconnected to the power source and it should be verified that the unit is functioning properly.

Please remember that these instructions should be served as general guidance and should consistently be used alongside the manufacturer's manual, if available.
