Installation Steps

Step 1: The power from your Frigidaire refrigerator is disconnected by pulling the plug from the wall outlet.

Step 2: The existing strike mech is removed by first loosening the two screws securing it using a Philips head screwdriver.

Step 3: The plastic covers that are concealing the mounting holes on the freezer door are taken off.

Step 4: The new strike mech is inserted into the mounting holes. It is ensured that it is aligned and firmly in place.

Step 5: The plastic covers are reattached.

Step 6: The two screws are tightened back into the strike mech.

Step 7: Your Frigidaire refrigerator is reconnected to the wall outlet.

Step 8: The new strike mech is verified to ensure it operates correctly.
