Installation Steps

Step 1: To begin, the screws fastening the back panel within the freezer compartment should be detached.

Step 2: The screws that attach the DEFROST HEATER to the evaporator coil should be unscrewed. Wire cutters should be utilized to sever the wires and disconnect the heater.

Step 3: The existing DEFROST HEATER should be removed, and the surface where the new one will be placed should be cleaned.

Step 4: The new DEFROST HEATER should be set in place and fastened securely with the screws.

Step 5: The wires to the new heater should be reconnected, then the backing panel should be reattached, securing it again with screws.

Step 6: Power to the refrigerator should be restored and the defrost setting should be disabled. The freezer should now operate efficiently.
