Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to the dryer should be deactivated. Either the dryer should be disconnected from the wall outlet or the circuit breaker designated for the dryer should be switched off.

Step 2: The lint filter assembly should be extracted by pulling it from the rear opening of the dryer.

Step 3: The new 5231EL1003B LG dryer lint filter assembly should be placed into position. The filter should be pressed until it secures with a click.

Step 4: The dryer should be reconstructed. Power to the dryer should be restored by either reconnecting it to the wall outlet or switching the circuit breaker back on.

Step 5: The dryer should be verified to function correctly. Several test loads should be conducted through the dryer to confirm it operates as expected with the new lint filter assembly.

Step 6: Any debris created during the installation should be tidied up. The old lint filter assembly should be disposed of according to local regulations.
