Product Description

The LG 5230W1A012E Grease Filter works by filtering out grease and oil particles that are emitted during cooking and stops them from getting in the microwave. Designed with aluminum mesh, which enables air to pass through while trapping grease hence improving filtration and airflow. During cooking, hot air circulates, and the filter traps the grease particles that may hinder the performance. This not only assists in keeping the interior clean but also in increasing the flow of air, eliminating bad smells, and increasing durability.

Installation Steps

Step 1: The power supply to your LG microwave should be disconnected. Either the microwave should be unplugged from the wall outlet or the circuit breaker should be deactivated for added safety.

Step 2: The old filter should be removed by pressing the tabs located on both sides. It should be carefully pulled out.

Step 3: Any dirt or debris from the area where the filter was situated should be wiped away, utilizing a damp cloth.

Step 4: The new filter should be placed into the designated slot. The arrows printed on the filter should be ensured directed towards the rear of the microwave. The tabs on both sides of the filter should be firmly pressed until it is securely positioned.

Step 5: The microwave should be reconnected to the wall outlet or the circuit breaker should be restored to the on position. Your new filter should now be installed, and the kitchen air should be more refreshing.
