Installation Steps

Step 1: The dishwasher is disconnected from the outlet and the screws securing the inner panel are taken out to access the unit.

Step 2: The interior panel of the dishwasher is taken off to reach the latch assembly.

Step 3: The wiring harness is detached from the latch assembly and the retaining clips that secure it are freed.

Step 4: The old latch assembly is extracted and it is disposed of.

Step 5: The new Fisher & Paykel Dishwasher Latch Assembly (left hand) is positioned, the wiring harness is aligned, and it is fastened with the retaining clips.

Step 6: The interior panel of the dishwasher is reattached and the screws are tightened.

Step 7: The dishwasher is reconnected to the outlet and the latch assembly is verified to function correctly.
