The LG 5215FD3715L Washer Hose-Inlet Hot is created to channel heated supply water from the plumbing system into an appliance. It assists by carrying pressurized hot water through a reinforced tube from the faucet connection to the appliances inlet valve, where flow is regulated for wash cycles. The hose is attached using threaded fittings with sealing where at both ends, linking the water source to the washer intake port. It supports controlled entry of hot water, can maintain secure connections under pressure, and ensures a consistent supply during washing operations.
Step 1: Your washer should be disconnected from the power source and the water supply should be shut off.
Step 2: The current 5215FD3715L LG Washer water inlet fill hose should be detached from the water inlet valve and taken out from the washer.
Step 3: The old hose should be thoroughly examined for any signs of cracks or leaks. If needed, any other hoses that require replacement should be substituted while the 5215FD3715L LG Washer water inlet fill hose with 90 degree elbow is being installed.
Step 4: The new 90 degree elbow should be positioned into the water inlet valve.
Step 5: The new 5215FD3715L LG Washer water inlet fill hose should be attached to the 90 degree elbow. All connections should be ensured tight.
Step 6: The water supply should be reactivated and the washer should be reconnected to the power.
Step 7: Any indications of leaks should be inspected. If no leaks are detected, the installation is complete.
