Installation Steps

Step 1: Initially, the power cord should be disconnected from your appliance and the gas supply deactivated prior to proceeding with any repairs.

Step 2: The screws and panel covers should be taken out from the access door to reveal the inside of the appliance.

Step 3: Two or three screws securing the damper motor to the chamber should be found. A Phillips-head screwdriver should be utilized to detach the screws, carefully observing their order and placement, and the motor should be extracted.

Step 4: The old motor should be brought to an appliance repair shop to locate a suitable replacement. Confirmation should be made that the new motor is compatible with your appliance model.

Step 5: The new motor should be inserted into the chamber, ensuring all mounting holes align, and the screws should be reinserted in the same sequence as they were removed.

Step 6: The access panel and screws should be reattached, then the power cord should be reconnected to the wall outlet.

Step 7: The gas supply and power to the appliance should be reactivated, and the operation of the new damper motor should be verified by running the unit. If it functions properly, your repair is finished.

Please note that these instructions should be served as general guidance and should always be referenced alongside the manufacturer's manual, if available.
