Installation Steps

Step 1: The power cord should be disconnected from the electrical outlet and the water supply valve for the washer should be turned off.

Step 2: The plastic back panel of the washer should be taken off by unscrewing all the screws found on the rear side and removing the panel.

Step 3: The current hinge spring holder should be found at the rear of the door opening.

Step 4: The screws should be detached from the hinge spring holder with a flat head screwdriver and it should be thrown away.

Step 5: The new hinge spring holder should be positioned into the back of the door opening and it should be fastened with screws.

Step 6: The plastic back panel should be reattached to the washer, ensuring all screws are securely tightened.

Step 7: The water supply valve should be activated and the power cord should be reconnected to the electrical outlet.

Step 8: The washer should be verified to confirm that the hinge spring holder is operating correctly.
