The Bosch 00489571 Bake Solenoid regulates the gas supply to the oven burner which makes it possible to ignite the gas safely and efficiently during the baking process. This electromagnetic valve opens when the control system of the oven is activated to allow gas to enter the burner and closes to prevent further flow when the desired temperature is attained. It is made to work accurately in gas ovens and provides the same level of heat control and safety during the cooking process.
