The LG 4866ER0007A Washer Weight Balance supports stabilizing the tub during spin and agitation cycles of the appliance. It works by resisting vibrations and unequal weight distribution in the drum and balancing with strategically placed pressures. The balance weight is fixed to the inside of the washer cabinet, usually on either the front base of the drum assembly or by mounting brackets. It prevents uneven performance by reducing shaking and movements during the wash and spin cycles and minimizes damage to internal parts.
